A woman has passed away following an incident on a ferry that arrived in Co Wexford, Ireland, on Tuesday.
A man was taken into custody after the woman’s death aboard the passenger vessel.
The incident took place on the 2 p.m. voyage from Fishguard, Wales, to Rosslare Europort.

Gardaí are conducting an investigation, and a Stena Line spokesperson confirmed that the incident occurred on the 2 p.m. sailing from Fishguard to Rosslare.
The spokesperson added: “This is a matter for law enforcement, so all further inquiries should be directed to Gardaí.”
A scheduled ferry from Rosslare to Fishguard was canceled following the incident.
